Its housing is made from 6061 aluminum and includes both a lower 13 cowitness mount 1.63 and a low mount .75 for lowcomb height rifle applications. HE403CGR is unique in that it is always on and ready. If there is ambient light available it will power the HE403CGR even without a battery. Additional features include Shake Awake technology digital buttons for setting changes rubber lens covers and a sidemounted battery tray for the 2032 battery.
