Rugers AR556 is made from 7075T6 hardcoat anodized aluminum forgings shotpeened and prooftested 9310 steel bolt and 8620 steel bolt carrier. Its barrel nut and delta ring allow easy oneperson service of the heatresistant glassfilled nylon handguard. The design accepts most standard carbinelength handguards. Handguards are made from heatresistant glassfilled nylon for shooting comfort and durability. The gas block is located at a carbinelength M4 position for improved balance and handling. Serrations on the angled face of the gas block provide a lowglare surface. A singlestage trigger provides durable and reliable fire control. Rapid Deploy folding rear sight provides windage adjustability and pairs with the A2style Fheight elevationadjustable front sight for a solid reliable aiming system. The AR556 also features a cold hammerforged alloy barrel and ergonomic pistol grip with an extended trigger reach for more precise trigger control. Included is a front sight tool. This model has a black sixposition buttstock and handguard and a Magpul PMAG.
