LWRCs ICA5 is built for high performance and is constructed using the highest quality materials. It is designed with a low profile 2position adjustable gas block allowing the shooter to compensate for running a suppressor with the added benefit of a longer modular rail system. The upper rail section is a special cutback version which allows the use of the low profile gas block and at the same time keep the full 12 modular rails available on the sides and bottom of the hand guards. Its dual control fully ambidextrous lower receiver includes bolt catch and release magazine release and fire control access from both sides. The cold hammerforged barrel is NiCorr treated and spiral fluted while the Nickelboron coated bolt carrier delivers unparalleled wear resistance corrosion resistance and permanent lubricity. The ICA5 comes complete with LWRCI Skirmish backup iron sights an ambidextrous charging handle LWRCI adjustable compact stock a Magpul MOE grip and A2 Birdcage flash hider. This model has a 16.1 barrel and a Patriot brown metal finish.
